These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. Essential oils provide plants with protection against environmental threats and play a role in plant pollination. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and being beautifully fragrant to people, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health-care practices.

Essential oils are used for a very wide range of emotional and physical wellness applications. They can be used a single oil at a time or in complex blends in one of three methods:

Aromatic

Certain essential oils, when diffused, can be very stimulating, while others can be calming and soothing. Diffusing essential oils can also cleanse and purify the air of unwanted odors.

Topical

Essential oils are easily absorbed by the skin and can be safely applied topically.

Internal

Certain essential oils have a rich culinary history and can be used as dietary supplements for targeted wellness.

When you sign up, you will be given the option to sign up as a Wellness Advocate or a Wholesale Member.  

• When you sign up as a Wellness Advocate, you will be able to qualify for the Loyalty Rewards Program and the Product of the Month Club which will help you to minimize your product expenses and maximize your product quantity.  You also have the option to earn commissions if you desire.

• A Wholesale Customer receives the same discount as a Wellness Advocate, but cannot earn commissions by sharing products.

Many dōTERRA members join simply to earn savings on their essential oil purchases.  There is no obligation to sell if you do not wish to.  If you do want the option to sell whether it's today or a few years down the road, make sure to sign up as a Wellness Advocate.

Each product has been assigned a value of Personal Volume (PV). When you purchase dōTERRA products, your PV increases. When your PV reaches 125 on your Loyalty Rewards order, the product of the month will be automatically added onto your LRP order. The product of the month can be earned only once a month on the Loyalty Rewards Program by placing an order of 125 PV or more between the first and fifteenth of the month. 

In addition to the free product of the month club explained above, each month dōTERRA reduces the price of one product by 15%.  If you are a member, this means you will receive your membership price of 25% off plus the additional 15% off!

The dōTERRA Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) is a program that provides free product credits for monthly purchases ordered on the program. As a participant in the Loyalty Rewards Program, you will immediately begin to earn product credits that can be used as cash to purchase dōTERRA products. The longer you participate, the more credits you can earn—up to 30% of your total monthly Loyalty Rewards purchases! (See Loyalty Rewards Program terms and conditions.)  Remember you are already saving 25% off everything as well so that's a 55% savings!

As a member of the Loyalty Rewards program, you will receive points which you can redeem for free product (please see Point Redemption Orders for further details on points). In addition, if you place an LRP order which reaches 125PV, you will qualify for the Product of the Month Club.The Product of the Month Club is a permanent promotion, with a new free product each month! As a member of the Loyalty Rewards Program, you may also qualify yourself for more commission opportunities.
